Critics of Vioxx® advised to take Plavix®, cup of shut the fuck up®

5 April 2009 | Joe Stella

Pharmaceutical giant Merck has been accused of attempting to discredit, de-fund and neutralise doctors critical of its anti-arthritis drug Vioxx®.

Read more background from The Australian.

If you suffer from critical loudmouth, talk to your doctor about Onthedol®, the revolutionary new treatment for doctors and researchers who work in the medical industry, but won’t be any more.

Although Vioxx® increases the risk of heart attack and stroke, these problems are easily addressed with Plavix®. The side-effects of Plavix® may be lessened with Rituxan®. And it never hurts to take more Nexium®.

Vioxx® was withdrawn from sale in 2004, however, after Merck researchers failed to discover a cure for criticism of Vioxx®.

Merck maintains that any drug will produce at least some side-effects, including constipation, diarrhoea and systematic attacks on the research community.

It was only after Merck started to go after aromatherapists who weren’t prescribing Vioxx® that staff realised they’d gone too far.
