Crocodile hunter widow Terri Irwin has taken her daughter to a psychologist because Bindi was “so happy” after the death of her father, The Daily Telegraph reports.
“I knew the psychologist would help because she was so successful cheering Bindi up in bereavement counselling,” Mrs Irwin told The Daily Grind.
“Next week she’s got therapy booked for conflicting feelings and emotional confusion.”
Mrs Irwin shielded her daughter from the press today, explaining that Bindi is busy with a Women’s Weekly special on the trauma of media overexposure.
“Then she has counselling overload counselling, to help her live like a normal kid,” she elaborated to The Daily Grind.
