Now playing rugby union in France, former Bulldog Sonny Bill Williams says he won’t be returning to his old team despite a Supreme Court injunction—and the possibility of gaol time if he doesn’t comply.
Bulldogs officials started the legal action hoping that Williams would give up the fight and surrender. But he hasn’t been in France that long.
Williams has to flee the jurisdiction to play rugby union, hence the term ‘running game’.
Williams says he’s willing to go to gaol if need be— but he might be less keen when he finds out that 80% of the guys in NSW gaols are Bulldogs supporters.
