A women posed in a magazine today. What’s more interesting is who she isn’t related to.
Very few people have the guts to do exactly what hundreds of other people do every day whilst simultaneously not being related to someone of note.
But this is exactly what Staci Child has done.
Child, who rose to fame in this article was formerly just another girl who wasn’t related to Prime Minister Julia Gillard. What makes her unique though is exactly how she isn’t related to Julia Gillard. Staci Child is exactly the most almost-related-to-Julia-Gillard person in Australia, next to her father Tim Mathieson, who is yet to pose in his underwear for Zoo Weekly.
Mathieson, whose name implies even he isn’t related to Child has no plans to pose for Zoo Weekly in the future. And if he does, he sure hasn’t told this reporter. Or so this reporter believes.
“I at least haven’t heard him mention it so far in any of the interviews I haven’t gotten around to watching yet.”
This makes Mathieson’s child Child the only person to have achieved this feat. Child (probably) stated that “I would’ve done this shoot anyway, even if I wasn’t the second most not-related-to-Julia-Gillard person in Australia”. Her hypothetically tenuous grasp on double-negatives aside, this is most likely the case. More likely, is the fact that no one would’ve cared.
Other previously un-noteworthy people who have posed for Zoo but also aren’t related to Julia Gillard include Jasmine Reilly, Emma McBride and Dorothy McGinley—all of whom are made up, but would’ve been hard to spot if I hadn’t’ve mentioned it.
