Australian amateur golfer Leighton Lyle has admitted to groping a woman next to him on a trans-Pacific flight while she slept.
Mr Lyle was apprehended before he could get into the rough.
The golfer claimed that the breast had been selected for him by his caddy.
My Lyle’s lawyer, Julie Sutherland, defended his behaviour on the grounds that he was socially immature and a virgin.
In his efforts to become better at golf, Mr Lyle neglected the opposite sex in favour of working on his stroke.
Around the links, Mr Lyle was often referred to as the “40 over par virgin” and, less charitably, “zero wood”.
Melbourne Magistrates Court was told that since the incident, Mr Lyle had signed up for internet dating. The court was not told that his handle is “fondle_zzz” and his opening line is “Your hole… in one!”
