A group of mostly female actors in Iran are facing the death penalty after being arrested for making porn videos.
The porn stars were charged with the Koranic offence of “corrupting the world” and have already been found guilty of the far more serious offence of terrible acting.
Rules governing porn in Iran were tightened in 2007, with lawmakers imposing the death penalty and instituting “double demerits for porn this Ramadan long weekend.”
The actors had produced several amateur films to sell on the black market, along with the Asian market, the blonde market and the black-on-blonde-on-Asian market.
The group were discovered when authorities found a stash of their titles, from crude anal flick Burqa’s Backdoor to the quirky comedy Ali Baba and the 40-year-old Virgin.
The male porn actors condemned to death will be hung.
