Cop’s leg charged with impersonating part of police officer

A Sydney police officer has been taken to hospital after accidentally shooting himself in the leg.

The 31-year-old acting sergeant told The Daily Grind that at the time of the shooting, he thought his leg was reaching for a gun.

Following standard procedure, the other officers immediately rushed over to the sergeant’s leg and planted a two kilos of heroin on it, before escorting it away for further questioning.

Unconfirmed reports suggest that the leg may also be charged with impersonating part of a police officer.
