Reflecting on the fate of the alleged victims, Country Liberal MP Terry Mills told ABC News that “Mr Collins is now in the hands of a higher authority.”

The Daily Grind understands that Heaven would only confirm that a Darwin man was assisting the Lord with His enquiries.

For many Australians, Collins was the embodiment of the Northern Territory—vast, friendly, connected to the Azaria Chamberlain case and not above having sex with Aboriginal children.

As he molested youngsters from Aboriginal communities in Arnhem Land in the 1970s, Collins provided an early example of how white politicians could work together with Aboriginal elders to achieve shared goals.

ABC News reports that in 1980, as the territory’s Opposition Leader, Collins was one of the few defenders of Lindy Chamberlain, then accused of killing her daughter Azaria.

Had Collins been forced to front court over child sex allegations, his legal team had planned to blame a dingo seen nearby.

In an upcoming telemovie documenting the politician’s life, Collins will be played by All Saints star John Howard, from whom he is virtually indistinguishable.
