Aboriginal activist Patrick Dodson has called on Australians to fund whatever lifestyle his people want, because they’re “unique”, they’re “less than two per cent” and they “should be entitled”. The Australian also quoted Mr Dodson as referring to the government’s “jackboots”.
“Give us free shit, you Nazis,” Mr Dodson demanded in an interview with The Daily Grind, prompting hope that the dream of Reconciliation still lives within “HEY! I said free shit! I don’t have all day!” Mr Dodson continued.
And he’s not alone. A broad cross-section of the community agrees with Mr Dodson: former MediaWatch host Monica Attard and the guy two places behind you in the queue at Centrelink.
Mr Dodson, long an opponent of property rights in remote communities, says that Aboriginies should be nomads, according to The Australian.
Mr Dodson’s understanding of public policy makes a welcome change from the “experts” running the show now. His plan for a return to the stone age would reduce overdevelopment while increasing commuting times.
Mr Dodson has generously offered to remain at his house in Canberra to oversee the return to hunter-gatherer lifestyles. Dodson’s Khmer Noir also has plans for people who wear glasses.
Mr Dodson told The Australian that defence was one area whose funding could be cut to provide extra resources for indigenous Australians.
The government has ruled that option out, noting what happened to the last Australian system that lacked the means to defend itself against a foreign invading force.
