Senior Hamas leader Mahmoud Zahar has threatened to kill Jewish children the world over in retaliation for Israeli military strikes on the Gaza Strip, which have killed 560 people.
The extraordinary threat seems likely to prove utterly counterproductive and, The Daily Grind understands, comes after Israeli helicopter gunships destroyed the Hamas public relations department. The strike has crippled the Islamist movement’s ability to vet public statements and edit those that would play badly in the press.
The deaths of so many communications consultants have been described as a “tragedy”, a “gaping hole” and “an opportunity for renewal moving forward.”
The statement follows a pledge from Hamas spokesman Abu Obeida that his movement would welcome Israel “with fire and iron.” Mr Obeida will also provide Fabulon® and a laundry hamper.
